Panning for gold in Idaho Springs
The whole experience was breathtaking and inspirational
See The Continental Divid In Rocky Mountain National Park

There are visitors’ centers at both entrances of Rocky Mountain National Park where park rangers will happily tell you about activities going on in the park. Some are especially designed for kids! On your way through the park, you may see a variety of wildlife, including elk, bighorn sheep, deer, and moose. If you choose to stop and explore the park, you will find many hiking trails for beginners, intermediates, and experts. There are brilliant waterfalls, trees, lakes, and wildflowers throughout the park. When you reach the top of Trail Ridge Road, you will find yourself above timberline. Here you will find a visitors’ center where you can learn about the ecosystem of the Arctic tundra. Never Summer Ranch is a great place to explore old Western farming life. You can take pictures of your kids in top hats and bonnets, as well as explore old cabins rich with history.
