Colorado and the Wild West Tour
Recommended Ages: 8 and Up
Summer/Winter

Celebrate the exploits of the "Old West's" most famous characters. Receive an exclusive Kids Go Tour of Buffalo Bill Cody's historic house (privately owned) in Denver. Then have dinner at his old watering hole the "Buckhorn Exchange". While in Denver stay at the historic Brown Palace Hotel. Visit the "Unsinkable" Molly Brown House and Museum, Titanic's heroine. Head up Lookout Mountain for a stop at the Buffalo Bill Memorial Museum, see the wonderful memorabilia from this famous western figure, and be sure to visit his gravesite!

Continuing your journey, pass by the buffalo herds! Then try your hand at gold panning and visit an operational gold mine or ride the Narrow gauge rails on the Georgetown Loop Railroad.

While in Winter Park stay in your own Distinctive Home or Cabin. Explore Cozens Ranch and Museum for a better understanding of their local history; meet their local heroine, "Doc Susie". Then take an open-air jeep or snowmobile tour to the Continental Divide.

Give your brain a break and relax fishing, hiking, horseback riding, or taking a chairlift ride up and alpine slide ride down a Colorado mountainside.

In the winter try snowshoeing, downhill or x-country skiing, sleigh rides, skating, snowtubing, dog sledding and that's just the activities beginning with the letter "S"!
